I totally love this and think it's super fun. The only issues I noticed are that its dictionary seems to have some issues figuring out how many syllables are in a word, and it won't let you add three words across two lines. Seems like existing poems could also be organized better, but it looks nice, works quickly, and is very enjoyable to play around with.
I'll admit, the syllable count isn't perfect (but it's usually pretty close). Not be able to add three words across two lines sounds like a bug.
We'll probably look into adding poem types to the listings page so it's easier to see what's what after NKO.
Thank you for the stars!
Seems not to be quite finished. Upon logging in I'm taken to choose a template, which takes me to the edit screen, but I can't do anything from there. The templates don't load into the editor, and the Edit button seems to have no effect on a blank page. The samples worked nicely, though.
Sorry for that.
A lot of stuff loads when the editor starts. And sometimes jitsu is kinda slow.
The fact is that the whole site was created with the editor, so... it actually does something.
Thanks anyway. Responsiveness is important and if the thing is not responsive we should at least notify the user.
Played with a few friends and really enjoyed this. It was very responsive - if anything, it moved too fast. Lack of step-by-step instructions was a problem. People were seeing buttons and clicking before talking with each other. And, as noted, assembling rooms could be better. Overall, though, it's a lot of fun!
Nice work! With some flashy effects and better messaging to the user, this would be really awesome. Responded nicely, and the concept is cute and useful.
Such a great idea! Of all the people I invited to test it, however, I seemed to be the only person who could send audio. It also kept losing my profile info, and wasn't updating the attendees unless I refreshed.
This is a great idea! But I can't seem to get it to work at all. Everything I attempt produces an invalid server error. :(
Nice concept and seems like it would be a lot of fun if the controls were steadier. Although this isn't a RWD competition, it would have come in handy here. Could also use more information, like who is this mysterious "fellow" who keeps beating me, and how do I lock my screen? Additionally, the holes seem to be sticky, and on a small device (phone), I wasn't able to avoid them.
Thank you Garann! Sorry for not making the social aspect more visible, but due to the nature of NodeKO starting to play was made as fast as possible, so asking to enter a player handle was left out.
Our current attempt in the game is to shake both the social and physical equilibrium of the player. Waiting for next ball generates hopefully more excitement than being fully aware what's happening next. The physical equilibrium is called equilibrioception, the sense of balance.
I'm not clear what it's supposed to do. When I get to a "game," nothing seems to be happening, and multiple aspects appear to be broken or unfinished. Very attractive, though!
Once you are at the Game zone.. there should be a task list from pivotal from stories that have not being rated yet.
The idea was to make games, grab some stories into this games and when "Playing" the team could go throw the stories from that game by discussing the description, attachments, labels, etc. throw a chat channel
We did had more thing finished, but we couldn't deploy them, time run out.
Thank you !! we enjoy developing this idea.
This is fun, and a cute idea, but seems to be having some issues with managing concurrent users. Responsiveness of controls is not great, and the queues seem to get stuck and just sit there half-empty (refreshing fixes it). Having to go back into the queue after a game ends is a bit frustrating.
Yeah, I'm aware of pretty much every bug (controls/lack of dots/queues) and also the design flaws and plan on finishing it. Ill post the updated version in a description. I actually had tons of fun making it and I'm glad that at the minimum its "stable".
Looks like this didn't get quite finished. Getting server errors at random points (login, viewing panel), and not able to edit details on classes, or create relations or about items. It's possible I'm doing it wrong, but I'm not getting any visual feedback or instruction to guide me.
Without an indication of where the videos are coming from, or a way to localize or personalize, the result seems to be an awful lot of Justin Bieber. Seems to have some issues finding enough content, even unfiltered, and even in the unfiltered view there are gaps in the display.
The gap is a CSS issue, line-height on non-Western alphabets. Language was going to be implemented, but we ran out of time. Thanks for your vote.
This is a useful idea, but to make it stand out from the others that already exist, it seems to need a little more work. I'm not able to remove styles (e.g., bold, italic) from a selection, and the assigned username never updates, even if I reset it. Inability to right-click within the editor to inspect is annoying, but probably only for someone who's interested in the markup it's producing. Additionally, edits don't appear to be saved when I come back to the same URL.
