cool idea! what if the graph was mashed up with stock data? local events? twitter? ui needs a little work, it's a bit buggy, but the time range filter helps make the graph more useful
We were planning to mash it with the twitter but unfortunately didn't have time to do it in the competition. We'll still planning to do it.
Great idea. /app worked, but the bookmarklet is throwing an "internal server error" Articles look nice, wish the -> at the top went to the original article With a working bookmarklet and some way to add tags/folders, I would use this to keep track of my reading
Awesome idea. I wish I could have got my robocode fighting against someone. This would be a great tool to intro students to ai/programming. You should talk to some professors about integration with entry level ai or programming classes!
Realtime human powered music discovery? Awesome. I would listen to this. Looks good, but not groundbreaking. Text for current track/titles would be nice. Innovative, but has room to grow. How will it stand out when there are so many music options out there? Can it connect me to people who have a similar taste in music or people who play a certain genre? Can I request the eavesdrop-ee skip a song, play only non-explicit tracks or tell them how awesome this track is and to play more like it?
@Nathan, we like the realtime part of it too!
We will be rolling out a version next week (after judging) that has the friend's name on the flipper tile and replaces the header text with the currently playing song and album.
It definitely has room to grow and we're stoked you think so too. For now we see it riding on the back of Rdio as we are huge fans of the service. We've got some ideas about how to present more users for exploration (not just friends) and some realtime communication.
We really appreciate you not only taking the time to try out our application but to provide such constructive feedback. The judging for the Knockout has been a real pleasure.
Thanks again!
seems useful, looks beautiful & complete. might be hard to use during a disaster, w/o power or network has potential to be integrated w/ something like: http://www.redcross.org/prepare/mobile-apps
fun! nice animations. kinda laggy, maybe nodejitsu? couldn't shoot, ended up on my head a lot.
Not sure what the use case for this is, but it's innovative. Design is clean, but I'm not sure what the buttons do. Got the android picture to change, but couldn't upload a picture.
load flash, I'm the same user as someone else (we're both steve). has potential
Great concept. No idea I had kills (no animations). Reminds me of tanks. Kinda slow, maybe my network.
webchat for hackers... I like it, but it would have to be 100% reliable. got a lot of "Failed to reconnect" errors, but it did eventually load
with full text search, a simple api and integration w/ github + CI, it could be a powerful tool for dev teams
