I like application of multiplayer to existing tetris, if done right could really capture imagination of people and explode, go viral, design of tetris with two gaps either side did not like, felt i was not filling complete lines, but o/w something here...
Like the pairing idea that was innovative, maybe many applications could use same approach. simple idea, low barriers to entry, fun, seems complete as to what it is. not sure i would come back many times but loved video - lots of fun!! :-)
Something there. like the simple idea taken to massive multiplayer. not sure display or controls work at such scale though. reminds me of scrabbl-y or whatever it was called
window did not scroll vertically for me o/w design nice and simple. as you say not that unique but simplicity and feel nice

I like the simplicity of the idea and feels there could be utility if picked up by somebody in the right context. I did not get very far in the app, was not sure what i was doing. Clicked on the demo, did not give me anything...

contestantThank you very much for the review. Your right, it's not quite clear what happens when clicking the Demo link (we have included that shortly before the end of the contest). IÄll just explain:
After clicking Demo you'll get a bunch of fake Message-Boards created arround your location. This happens over a period of about 5 minutes and you can see how some bots add new comments to those Message-Boards :-) Actually there are also some Pulp Fiction dialogs ;-)

hi it hung after i did ouath with facebook so could not see anything or try. This space feels a bit busy, so many apps trying to do the same. Is there a unique twist, value prop here?

contestantHello Geoff, please allow couple of seconds after the oAuth as it starts to pull from the facebook from your data, the joins take some time depends on how big is your friendlist, please let me know if it did work.
the main value here that it will "highlight" the status updates from your friends that will interest you.

this solves the problem of time consumption spent on your social media to try and find updates that does interest you in your social network.
when you try it the app, you might find couple of statuses on your facebook that you have missed and do interest you.

it works fine - well done. I am not sure how results the way they are presented are any better than going to each serivice anyway. What is that worth?

Currently the "highlight" section are the status that the algorithm believes that is the most important to you and you must read it.
50% of our social network update is things that are there and we scan through trying to find the 30% that is worth reading and 20% comment/sharing, what I'm trying is to cut our consumed time to make our social network reading a 60% worth reading and 40% commenting and sharing.
There is something here. I tried on my modules and I liked the way they immediately appeared. Not sure how people would use in reality but somehow feels good and useful so just need that last use case ... :-)
Like the simple video and the idea, could see news agencies using. I was thinking that you would show me how a story rippled across the world in real time across all news sources - I thought that would be very neat e.g. General Petreus - which local news agencies picked up first after the story broke

hi, I like the sheer simplicity, if it worked i would use since it came up so fast and was so easy. Could not get /nick to work for me at start however. So simplicity and speed of response great. No feedback and inability to get past /nick not so good
Hi, there might be a good idea here on the theme side from the video, but wasn;t sure since didn't speak the language. Without that understanding was i suppose to be able to share my draw with others? Or others draw on my drawing same time? I was not sure what i was doing and why...
