We definitely have some work to do on matchmaking. If the original game owner leaves, it breaks that room. We'll be adding better matchmaking after the judging is over! You can see it in action here: https://vimeo.com/53450004
Seems like an interesting idea. I didn't get past Twitter OAuth though because of an internal server error. I see many other NKO apps failing on Twitter OAuth, so I'm giving it benefit of the doubt. If things are restored to working state later, I'll upgrade the completness rank.
Thanks, i swear it has been working since friday night, but we get random erros from the nodejitsu stack often. And we know it is not our fault because in the logs we have no errors. Github and twitter auth, has been tested a lot because it is the first thing we added
Looks good. Well presented. Could not get anything to work (dice didn't roll, nobody progressed).
Yeah, must be the sessions users created, then left.
You can start a new game at /new_game
Thanks!
Desperately needs better level design - there is nowhere to go but down at the moment. But I love the global chat drifting off into the sky - very nice effect.
Currently completely unable to log in and try to use Presentee, I get 500 Internal Server Error when returning from Twitter OAuth. Will update the completeness if this is a temporary problem.
This is a temporary problem that seems to be affecting multiple contributors' projects. However, Facebook login still works, so you could try that.
Thanks for taking a look!
It seems like twitter login might be working again, just FYI
Sorry to keep sending you messages/emails, haha. Twitter auth seems to have gone down again. I think it's an issue on their end, but Facebook auth has been working throughout.
I'm probably not listening to presentations in the same way as intended with this, but I can see the appeal for others perhaps. Currently completely unable to log in and try to use Presentee, I get 500 server error "failed to find request token in session". Will update the completeness if this is a temporary problem.
Thanks for voting on us!
Would love to hear any thoughts you might have on things to improve or features to implement!

jakubnesetrilI would have probably preferred to extend node-inspector instead of coming up with a new UI. There are features I miss - for example visualised stack trace or well designed variable inspector.
That is a fair point. I think to an extent our design was inspired by the simplicity of windbg and gdb, which the both of us are more used to, and also by wanting to save time on figuring out how to proxy connections to the Chrome debugger. In particular, having multiple people connect to the same debugger session was important to us.
That said, we could certainly do with more visual features, and such.
Thanks again for your comment and the scores :)
Jakub - that's an excellent piece of feedback. Like Panda said, it's something that we would have liked to do, but didn't quite have time. In fact, windbg actually has all of these features (stack trace viewer, locals viewer, breakpoint viewer, etc).
Those are the kinds of things we will add later on.
Kind of useless, but still - I'm happy somebody's done this for all us Sheldon fans.
Reminds me of good old Glypha for Macintosh. Graphics is a bit average for a game, but ignoring some inevitable synchronisation issues, it works fairly well.
During some peak hours, the servers we had to use to deploy for NKO aren't able to keep things in sync as well as some other services we've used in the past. Stop on by another time, ping me, and let's battle!
Trying to log in via Twitter (without creating an account first) gives me a 500 error message. Trying to write 3 words with a dot and a newline among them confuses the word count. So there are minor completeness glitches. But it works as advertised and is kind of cool. I'd love to see what type of poetry does a specific poem subscribe directly from the poetry list screen, so that I don't have to click on individual poems to find which ones are NOT a Haiku.
The twitter thing is a bit unfortunate as it only seems to happen for certain twitter accounts. Good catch on the 3 words, it's a pretty simple check IIRC.
Being able to see the poem types would definitely be a good idea, we'll add that after NKO. Thanks for the vote!
Works as advertised. But it doesn't really tickle any fancy of mine.
I really like the idea, having a light-weight audio chat running in the background 24/7 and can see myself using that both for personal chat or even on a website to support a product. I got the audio chat to work after a couple tries, but things are quite buggy, as are reconnects, page reloads, gravatar support etc.
Even when enough people have gathered in the game, nobody knew how to get it started.
