After selling his first startup built on the Node/Express/MongoDB stack in 2010, Aaron joined LearnBoost where he became deeply involved in Mongoose, the MongoDB ODM. These days he works at 10gen (the MongoDB company) maintaining Mongoose and continues to author and contribute to a wide array of other Nodejs modules. Oh yeah, and he loves hummus.
Really love this. Worked flawlessly. <3 <3 Always wanted something like this to play music throughout a home etc. Great idea.
Beautiful design, wasn't immediately apparent that I needed to open the card. Couldn't actually send the card so docked on completeness there. Seems like a strong start to something great.
Very fun. Didn't seem to know how to end the game but enjoyable none the less.
Nicely done. I've seen this done several times before so had to take points off there.
Really love this game. Seems a little buggy with particles not getting garbage collected causing me to refresh occasionally. Great work!
Fun but I'm not sure if I'm playing against anyone else. Very slick design. Interesting concept.
holy metaphore! not sure exactly what the game rules were. fun tho!
A good start. Needs a little more work to really get interesting. Its nice to be able to just search and use random sounds.
The interface left me a bit confused as to which dependencies were exactly out of date (the red is at the end in some spots, the middle for others). Would be nice to be able to paste github urls or npm package names too.
my wife loves this. could use a little work on the ranking but definitely useful.
The image upload options are great! Love the web search too. Overall UI is very nice but a little buggy when editing ingredients. My wife thinks this is cool so it must be :D
Works well. Slick animation. Chat is a nice touch. Unclear about scoring system but overall nice work.
Thanks for playing! The scoring is based on the number of letters in each word that you complete. I suppose we should have mentioned that somewhere. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.
Provides a nice (albeit opinionated) guideline. Beautiful UI. Enjoyable to use.
Thanks! You should have seen the first version - syntax errors on every line of every project. JavaScripters play fast and loose, man!
Horses were hilarious. Nice background sound. Couldn't really win though, or at least didn't see how.
Love this. Crazy hack that mostly works. The link (fighting-mongoose) works but githubchat.us wasn't working for me. Nice job tho.
Incomplete: could not log in with dropbox, got an Internal Server Error from http://webshelf.nko3.jit.su/. Based on the video, its an interesting concept.
Fun idea. I couldn't add my own contribution for whatever reason. The map left me hanging a bit, I expected clicking a pin would display the image. The api is a nice touch.
Like the simplicity.
