Not sure what caused this for you. Use Chrome and open it in two windows not tabs. I tested it once more with other browsers too and tabs but found no issues. Only thing I can guess is that websocket connection disconnected, because then player is returned to the room selection. Or maybe you use some setting that kills network connection for background tabs.
As you can see from the votes nobody has had trouble getting it to run before so I'm bit confused. Also there is a video.
I check the logs and there was a crash at 11/16 05:14:10 GMT+0200 because child process thats used for board generation got no-memory error and then it restarted.
So ignore my previous suggestions. You were just unlucky.
AMAZING work on this!!!
Fantastic job on this. I can get the pieces to move no problem, but can't get them to attack?
I'm in now if you'd like to give it another try!
Great work on this, would love to see the game running with a larger viewport!
Very good work! | |||
This has huge potential, I used Chrome and iPhone 4 to give it a whirl, and it is acting pretty buggy, for instance the phone did not seem to respond well to taps or swinging although it did occasionally seem to move the boat.
Amazing work on this, I am extremely impressed!
I am simply blown away by the fact you banged this out in 48 hours. Fantastic work.
Very, very good job on this. Tremendous work.
Awesome, thanks so much! We're already hard at work on the next version of this, we're having a ton of fun with it.
Very cool, definitely has some potential. I'd love to see additional data!
Great design, great UI. Good work.
Seems very cool. Once I enter the file browser though everything seems to freeze?
I receive "500 Error: no open connections" when click on the Twitter login link. Let me know when it is fixed and I'll try to come back and have another look. Just adding one star across the board right now as a reminder.
Good job on this. | |||
Thank you!
Love the design, I'm reminded of the game Robotron: 2084. Wish there were others in the room to chat with though so I could really test it, tried opening multiple tabs but additional characters were not created?
Love the concept, controls work very well. I don't entirely get the limited lighting though? Why not just make everything visible, ala Zelda? Very good job on this!
This is a brilliant idea. I'm receiving an internal server error when logging in via Twitter though?
I've added a more relevant video demo now since the twitter auth has mysteriously broken on nodejitsu's servers.
Pretty cool! | |||
Hi, this has potential to be a fun game. Not sure about the rule in which other players choose the answer which is their favorite?
Pretty cool, would be really neat if the viewport was larger. Good work!
Hi, I tried this out on both Firefox and Chrome, receiving Internal Server Error on both. The GIF generator seems to be working fine however. Very slick idea.
Hi guys, I really like this idea, this could be a cool exercising application perhaps?
Thanks, I usually play when I walk my dog ;)
Seems to work really well.
This really has potential, I particularly like the upvote/downvote component and correlation with time on the "stage".
Running Chrome (OSX). Really like this entry, has a ton of potential. Unfortunately it is difficult to judge when nobody else seems to be logged in. :-( Opening two sessions (Firefox and Chrome) did not appear to work. I like the potential though!
I tried this by going through the process of creating my own Pivotal Tracker acct, at the conclusion I was greeted with "Internal Server Error" when returned to the http://tangosource.nko3.jitsu.com/login page. Subsequently tried using the test credentials and that worked fine. From here I was unable to do much (Chrome OSX) because after selecting a game things appeared to be fairly broken; notably I was unable to do anything with the stories. I like the idea though!
Yes, actually when logging in I'm requesting an access token to pivotal API from passport and If I didn't got this access token I redirect the site with this "Internal server error". Not a good idea I know ! ... We did had more things finished, but we couldn't be ably to deploy them sense time was out. We put a lot of effort on it :) thanks!!
we are looking to finish it up.
As an avid GitHub user this is something I would definitely use! Too bad it isn't operational, consider continuing work on it after the contest!
Thank you. I definitely plan to work on this and take it to a usable shape.
I absolutely love this idea, particularly the gift card integration concept. Wish the e-mail feature was working so I could send myself a card!
Thank you so much for your vote and feedback. Were just about complete the app, we will be launching it next week. Hope you use it!
Hi, after logging into GitHub using the latest version of Chrome I was greeted with the error message, "An error has occurred: {"code":"ECONNRESET"}". Going to just assign a star across the board for now and hopefully return for another look once this is fixed.
Did you try refreshing after signing in? Don't know why that happens, but refreshing has fixed it earlier.
wjgilmoreHi,
Yep refreshing worked, however I've added www.yahoo.com as a site and nothing is happening? Gave it a few minutes as the description mentioned tests are running in background but nothing is happening?
Hi I was unable to effectively judge this entry because no other users are logged in. I tried to circumvent this by opening multiple tabs (in Chrome), however I'm only seeing "Wating for players to join...". The design looks very, very cool though.
Thanks! It works on existing sessions, so we had to test it with three incognito windows, it was a pain!
I'm afraid I was unable to get this to work in Chrome (OSX), only hearing the same default rhythm even after adjusting the "pegs". With a different interface this has potential as a music learning application though, could be cool!
Did you hear tones or just a rhythm. You should definitely have heard differences after fiddling with the pattern. Maybe try it again. I must admit that our game is quite demanding in terms of performance. I have a Core 2 Duo MacBook, and do make it run smoothly I had to turn off several CSS3 transitions in the UI. Thanks for your input, we have a lot of fun with our game, and we will continue working on it!
Hmm I'm afraid I don't completely understand the purpose of the application. I definitely like the concept of the virtual presence though, very interesting!
Ha, the purpose maybe a little weird. :D But still thanks for your judge.
I gave it a go with multiple tabs, and after starting the game I was returned to the lobby? Let me know how I can fix and I'll try to return to vote.
