hmm, that is interesting. We actually did set the forward/backwards axis point to a 45 degree angle.
However, its a small room for movement between 0-45 and 45-90 for forward and back. We were trying to figure out the best way to completely smooth it but ran out of time in the 48 hours.
I think a lot of the "twitchy-ness" that people are reporting is probably due to using the wireless mobile controller not on wifi.
I like it. It would be useful to add an onion skinning though.
Thanks!
We were hoping that viewing the last frame would be something of a start towards onion skinning, but we will definitely have more features along those lines in future versions.
Thanks for the feedback

Thank you very much for your vote!
I love the idea. Very well done as well.
I love the idea of using a mobile device as a game controller. The game itself seems kinda twitchy, the ship jumps around a lot.
You could adjust how it reads the acceleromoter. It seemed like I needed to hold the phone completely perpendicular to the floor, or I'd end up flying up to the top of the screen. It would feel more natural if the phone needed to be tilted around 45 degrees.
