Contestant on Unexpected Identifier.
Hey Jon - thanks for letting us know. I'd love to hear what issues you had - is there any way I can get in touch? You can reach me either on twitter (@itayneeman) or my email (itay@neeman.net).
Very fun idea. Took a while to figure out how to play on my own, though.
Thanks, some instructions on the page would have definitely helped, wish we had more time!
It's an interesting way to browse, reminiscent of the News channel on the Wii. Of course, because news stories often have a date line of the nearest large city, it can get very difficult to browse stories as they all stack on each other.
Yes, you're definitely right. We add a bit of random "spread" to the story locations to help combat this, but it would be nice if we could get smarter about extracting the exact story location, rather than just the dateline.
It's a fun toy to mess around with. Will be great for easily making absurd code comments.
The idea looks really interesting.
Thanks for your vote
Very similar to other solutions (especially PassPack), but good job executing the idea.
cool, thanks for the feedback! it's actually a little different from passpack in that I don't store the passwords, just the configurations (I generate passwords based on hashes of the master password and site info all on the client side). but either way, your scores are about right... I didn't invent the idea. and I owe you for pointing me to passpack. they have a lot of cool features that I'll be "borrowing" as I improve the idea :) and who knew? people can make money making these things!
Ahh, I misunderstood that part of the concept, and thought you were just doing client side en/decryption of the passwords. Still an interesting idea!
The idea seems good, and hopefully you guys get it off the ground.
Novel idea! The two player bit looks fun, but is hard to try out right now.
Yeah, 2-player is really fun, but the connection coordination logic is not great, which is why it's hard to get a game :( The best bet is to coordinate with someone else on IM.
Great idea, and it looks well executed.
Awesome idea. Unfortunately, I tried it on a few of my apps and couldn't get it to work, but it shows a lot of promise.
