  nice! my question is does this implement replication, for example, can this be incrementally scaled by adding nodes as they are needed?

    Hi, thanks for the vote! Yes, it does - it uses a sloppy quorum with a consistent hash backed by a vnodes to real nodes mapping + a key-specific replication factor. The configuration option for vnodes is not exposed right now though.
